Brinley Meyer

Brinley has worked in the Australian theatre, TV and film industry for over 15 years. 

 

Graduating in 2009 from The Actors Centre Australia, Brinley is best known for her role as historical figure Sarah Mathew in the award winning theatre production Convict Footprints - The Old North Road.

 

Her other stage credits include Jill in Equus - the 40th Anniversary, a female Enobarbus in Antony and Cleopatra, The Madame in The Maids, Lennox in Macbeth, Honey in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolfe and part of the ensemble of Not I with NIDA Directing Program under Kip Williams.

In 2010, Brinley toured with national education theatre company Poetry in Action.

Film and TV credits include: Bunyip (2015) which she also co-produced, Coffee (2009), Natural Selection (2009), Reservoir Cats (2011), Warzone (2005, a Paste Short Film Festival Finalist, Georgia, USA), Deadly Women, Dark Minds, The White Rabbit Project, and Inside Story.

In 2017, Brinley has put on the producer's hat again with The Sarah Mathew Project.

 

With a degree in Linguistics as well as her acting training, and years of experience behind and in front of the camera, Brinley's love of language, people, history, artistry and a good story, coupled with her generousity of spirit, makes her a relentlessly dedicated member of the industry.
